Randstad Canada is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Calgary area to bridge product development, operations, and quality. You will lead sustaining engineering, drive manufacturing readiness for new product introductions, and mentor team members while improving reliability and cost structures.
The role requires a hands-on leader with 5–10+ years in manufacturing or sustaining engineering, ideally in architectural lighting or related electromechanical manufacturing environments.
Our growing, Calgary area client is an innovative designer and manufacturer of premium architectural-lighting solutions. They are seeking a hands-on, highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to bridge the gap between product development, operations, and quality. In this technical leadership role, you will play a critical part in strengthening factory capability, optimizing production, driving value engineering, and ensuring flawless product launches and ongoing sustaining execution.
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will take ownership of sustaining engineering initiatives while driving manufacturing readiness for new product introductions (NPI). Partnering closely with Product Development, Product Management, Quality, and Operations, you will lead technical reviews, mentor team members, improve product reliability and cost structures, and maintain factory-wide quality standards.
