Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of security experience in commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use environments.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence required.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write detailed and accurate incident reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security management systems.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in emergencies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to work rotating days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity and protect assets.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm systems and other security technologies.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and service calls.
• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, residents, visitors and contractors.
• Enforce property rules and site procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required.
• Investigate and document incidents and safety hazards.
• Report safety concerns and maintenance issues.
• Support emergency response procedures and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
• Complete reports, logs and documentation accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with property management and stakeholders to ensure a safe environment.
