Allied Universal is seeking a professional Security Professional for a part-time, high-rise residential post in Downtown Toronto. The role blends concierge service with security duties to create a welcoming, safe environment for residents and visitors.

Ideal candidates have residential concierge or security experience, strong communication skills, and must hold an Ontario Security Guard Licence along with First Aid & CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of concierge experience.
• Residential concierge or residential security experience is an asset.
• Ontario Security Guard Licence valid.
• First Aid & CPR certification valid.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional concierge and security services to residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and other security systems.
• Manage property access and respond to security concerns and service calls.
• Enforce site policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with management or emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate incident reports, logs, and daily documentation.
• Identify and report safety, maintenance, and security concerns.

Location: Downtown Toronto (College St & Bay St)

Position: Part -Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 per hour

Schedule: Overnights

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 8pm to 6am

This role combines concierge service and security responsibilities, providing a welcoming presence for residents and visitors while helping maintain a safe and secure property. The ideal candidate has residential concierge or security experience, strong communication skills, and a professional approach to interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional concierge and security services to residents, visitors, and contractors.

What You Bring

• Previous concierge security or residential security experience is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and wireless communication skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/work experience.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada for up to 40 hours per week.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
