Job summary

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is seeking Class 3 High Pressure Operators to operate high pressure, pressure trucks and hot oiler units as part of a safety‑conscious team at Suncor Firebag.

Wages start at $41.44/hour and this is a Union Local 362 Teamsters position with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with 18-speed manual transmission experience.
• Minimum one (1) year previous experience operating high pressure trucks and hot oiler units.
• High pressure, vacuum truck or hydro vac operation experience is an asset.
• Minimum one (1) year previous oilsands or industrial experience.
• Valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO certificates (proof required prior to first day).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety‑focused environment.
• Experience in a labor‑intensive position and working outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Drive, operate, and stage units.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Assist with job site preparation and staging equipment.
• Maintain and update driver’s logbook.
• Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors.
• Perform roadside repairs as required.
