Job summary

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is seeking Class 3 Driver/Operators to join our safety-conscious team serving the Suncor Fort Hills project. You will drive and operate combo units, water trucks, and pressure trucks while supporting client needs.

This Union Local 362 Teamsters position offers a 14/14 rotation with full rates starting at $41.44/hour, along with benefits, camp accommodations for eligible staff, and company-matched RRSP after 90 days of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 3 Driver's License with 18-speed manual transmission experience.
• Experience with Hydrovac, Combo and vac truck units.
• Experience with heavy equipment such as rock trucks.
• Minimum of one year Oilsands or industrial experience.
• Must hold First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (proof provided).
• Willing to work a 14/14 rotation, day and night shifts.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a safety-focused team.
• Experience in labor-intensive outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is priority by complying with safe work practices.
• Drives, operates and stages units.
• Performs pre and post trip inspections.
• Assist with job site preparation, staging equipment.
• Maintains and updates driver's logbook.
• Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day.
• Performs roadside repairs as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
