Job summary

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is seeking Class 3 Driver/Operators to join the safety conscious team at Suncor Fort Hills. You will operate and drive combo units, water trucks, and pressure trucks, executing a variety of client-directed tasks.

This Union Local 362 Teamsters position offers a 14/14 rotation with full rates starting at $41.44/hour. Camp provided for eligible staff, COLA, flights, health benefits after 30 days, RRSP with company matching after 90 days, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Class 1 or 3 driver's license with 18 speed manual transmission experience.
  • 1 year Oilsands or industrial experience is required.
  • Experience with Hydrovac, Combo and vac trucks is an asset.
  • Valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates on file.
  • Ability to work a 14/14 rotation, day and night shifts.
  • Work well with minimal supervision in a safety-focused team.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
  • Drive, operate and stage assigned units.
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections.
  • Assist with job site preparation and staging equipment.
  • Maintain and update driver's logbook.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day.
  • Perform roadside repairs as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Class 3 Driver/Operators to join their safety conscious team at Suncor Fort Hills! You will be responsible for operating and driving various assigned units such as combo units, water trucks, pressure trucks, and for performing a variety of jobs as dictated by the client.

This is a Union Local 362 Teamsters position. This is a 14/14 rotation, full rates starting at $41.44/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Drives, operates and stages units.
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections.
  • Assist with job site preparation, staging equipment.
  • Maintains and updates driver's logbook.
  • Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
  • Performs roadside repairs as required
  • other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Class 1 or 3 Driver's License required with 18 speed manual transmission experience.
  • Experience with Hydrovac, Combo and vac truck units would be an asset.
  • Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience.
  • Experience with heavy equipment such as mini excavators would be an asset
  • Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day and site arrival). Training can be arranged.
  • Ability to work a 14/14 rotation, day and night shift.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
  • Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
