Competenze

• DEP in heavy-duty truck technician or equivalent (asset).
• Relevant work experience required.

We are currently seeking individuals with a mechanical aptitude to ensure the proper functioning and safety of our customers’ trucks at our Gatineau dealership. This role is ideal for those passionate about heavy vehicles who are dedicated to showcasing and developing their technical skills alongside our experienced team.

The work involved:

• – Inspect the general condition of trucks to detect worn, defective, or damaged parts;
• – Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance, particularly on engines, transmissions, and electrical systems;
• – Carry out mechanical overhauls, repairs, and engine reconditioning;
• – Conduct mechanical inspections and checks to prevent failures and ensure truck reliability;
• – Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the trucks operate correctly;
• – Verify truck operation and performance by conducting road tests when required;
• – Accurately complete diagnostic, maintenance, and repair reports;
• – Maintain a clean, safe work environment that complies with health and safety standards;
• – Perform any other related tasks associated with the role or requested by the immediate supervisor.
