Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in diesel mechanics required.
  • Preventive maintenance card (PEP) is an asset.
  • Holding a class 5 driver's license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Examine the condition of the trucks to identify worn and damaged parts.
  • Participate in the assembly and disassembly of engines.
  • Carry out checks on trucks to prevent failures.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance of trucks.
  • Perform road tests to check truck performance.
  • Complete repair reports and maintain cleanliness of the workstation.

Responsibilities:

– Examine the condition of the trucks to identify worn and damaged parts

– Participate in the assembly and disassembly of engines

– Carry out preventive maintenance of trucks

– Check the performance of the truck by carrying out road tests

– Complete the reports concerning the repairs carried out

– Ensure the cleanliness of the workstation

– If necessary, perform any other related task related to the job.

Requirements and Qualifications:

– DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics;

– Have experience in diesel mechanics (minimum 3 years with CPA card)

– Hold a preventive maintenance card (PEP) (an asset)

– Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools

– Dynamic person

– Willingness to learn

– Analytical mind

– Knowledge of CDK Global/ADP Drive software (an asset)

– Driving licence: class 5 compulsory 1 and 3 optional.
