Job summary
Excellence Peterbilt in Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur is seeking an Apprentice Truck Mechanic for the evening shift. Join a well-equipped shop with a family-oriented atmosphere and a strong focus on learning and growth within heavy trucks and equipment.
Role offers hands-on training, in-house trainers, and access to manufacturer-provided diagnostic tools. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, some engine knowledge (Cummins or PACCAR is a plus), and a willingness to learn and follow
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in heavy-duty truck or heavy equipment mechanics.
- Knowledge of Cummins or PACCAR engines (an asset).
- Electrical diagnostics experience (an asset).
- Ability to understand English, including reading technical information and watching training videos.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

Starting at $21.81/hour
$3.00/hour
Monday to Friday, 3:30 p.m. to midnight
