Job summary

Centre du camion Thibault in Rouyn-Noranda is seeking an experienced heavy-duty vehicle mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel engines, air brakes and electrical systems. You will use diagnostic tools, perform road tests, and collaborate with the shop team to maintain top quality, safety and efficiency.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in heavy-duty mechanics, relevant training or equivalent experience, strong diagnostic skills, independence, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Are you familiar with diesel engines, air brakes, transmissions, differentials and electrical systems? Are you comfortable diagnosing problems and finding the root cause instead of simply replacing parts?

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems
• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles
• Work on diesel engines, air brakes, transmissions and differentials
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment
• Perform road tests when required
