Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Heavy Haul Truck Driver to join a team that moves the heaviest, most complex loads across North America. You will transport oversized equipment and supervise multi-axle trailers on local and over-the-road routes.

Qualifications

• Required: CDL Class A license; Experience with heavy haul or over-dimensional loads; Knowledge of axle weight distribution and load securement; Mechanical aptitude with ability to inspect and maintain equipment; Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Transport over-dimensional and super loads across local and over-the-road routes.
• Operate equipment including RGN, step deck, double/triple drop trailers, and multi-axle setups.
• Work as part of a team-based heavy haul operation on complex loads.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Assist with assembly and inspection of trailers and hauling equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and equipment checks.
