BLS Asphalt (2021) Ltd. is seeking a reliable Heavy Equipment Transport Driver to move, load, secure, haul and unload heavy machinery across Saskatchewan and beyond. You will operate low boy and step deck trailers, conduct pre-trip checks, and coordinate with dispatch for efficient site-to-site travel.

Qualifications

• Responsible, safe and dependable drivers.
• Class 1 License with air endorsement required.
• Minimum 2 years heavy truck experience.
• Experience loading/hauling heavy equipment is preferred.
• Weekend availability and overtime willingness.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, secure, haul and unload heavy equipment using low boy/step deck trailers.
• Secure equipment with blocks and chains.
• Navigate routes with dispatch to sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Occasionally haul aggregate or equipment out of province.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe trucks and trailers.

BLS Asphalt (2021) Ltd. is fast growing locally owned company. We are looking for reliable, dependable and safe Heavy Equipment Transport Driver.

What you will be required to do:

• Heavy Equipment moving, safely load, secure, haul and unload heavy equipment using low boy and step deck trailers. (Loaders, Packers, Excavators, Graders, Rock Trucks)
• Properly securing, block and tie/chain down equipment for transport.
• Confidently manoeuvre massive truck setups through tight, unpaved, active construction zones, muddy terrain, and high-traffic public roadways.
• Routine Equipment Checks: Walk around, inspect, and maintain your truck and trailer daily. Flag issues to our heavy mechanics immediately to minimize downtime.
• Navigate truck routes working with truck dispatch to get to and from sites.
• Responsible for conducting pre-trip/ post trip inspections.
• Also, will be required to haul aggregate when not transporting equipment
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, organized and safe fashion.
• Maybe required to haul equipment out of province or pick up equipment out of province.
• Weekend work required.
• Shift work (Day/Night Shift) Seasonal.

• Super B & End Dump experience (Considered an asset)
• Aggregate Hauling experience (Considered an asset)
• Wage dependent on experience.
