Brandt is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician - Value Parts in Regina, SK. You will diagnose, repair, and assemble heavy-duty equipment components, order parts, and document maintenance using industry software.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and technical equipment repair needs.
  • Strong time-management skills to perform effectively.
  • Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proven computer and technical aptitude and knowledge for diagnostics and calibration work.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, service team, and branch personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy‑duty equipment components.
  • Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems.
  • Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards.
  • Document maintenance, inspection and diagnosis using computer systems (i.e. John Deere Service Advisor).
  • Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel.
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail.
  • Forklift experience and heavy‑duty parts handling an asset.

Education

Certified Journeyperson in the heavy-duty equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipment components
  • Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems

  • Use computer applications and information systems (i.e. John Deere Service Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
  • Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail
  • Forklift experience and heavy-duty parts handling an asset
What We Look For
  • Certified Journeyperson in the heavy-duty equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment considered an asset
  • Must be committed to customer service and service excellence
  • Must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and branch personnel
  • Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proven computer and technical aptitude and knowledge for diagnostics and calibration work.
