Sterling Crane Canada is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician (licensed 310T) to join our Corunna/Sarnia, ON team. This full-time hourly role involves field and shop work, diagnosing and repairing cranes, trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and compliance.

The successful candidate will have a 310T license, experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, CVIP readiness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Local candidates preferred.

Qualificações

• Journeyperson licensed 310T Truck and Coach / Heavy Equipment Technician is required.
• Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems is required.
• CVIP license or willingness to enter CVIP program.
• Demonstrated safe work practices and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of Liebherr, Grove, Tadano, Broderson and Kobelco cranes is an asset.
• Must supply own hand tools and valid driver's license (class 5; class 1 or 3 is an asset).
• Must be in good standing with IUOE 793 or able to join Local 793.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair mobile and crawler hydraulic cranes, boom trucks, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers.
• Perform mechanical inspections including Commercial Vehicle inspections.
• Utilize testing equipment to identify issues.
• Address outstanding repairs promptly.
• Order parts and track fleet maintenance in the Sterling Crane Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Provide detailed repair comments in paper and electronic work orders.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime required.**JOB TYPE**: Full-time hourly position, unionized. Field and shop work required.**LOCATION**: 696 Polymoore Drive, Corunna, ON N0N 1G0.**HOURS**: Monday through Friday, within business operating hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM MST (40 hour/week).
