Job summary

Sterling Crane Canada, part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., invites applications for a Heavy Equipment Technician (licensed 310T) in Corunna, ON. This full-time hourly role covers field and shop work, with standard hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and occasional overtime.

You’ll diagnose and repair cranes, trucks and trailers, perform CV inspections, and ensure maintenance records are up to date. A journeyperson license and experience with electrical/hydraulic systems are required; CVIP license a plus;

Qualifications

• Journeyperson licensed 310T Truck and Coach / Heavy Equipment Technician.
• Experience working with electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Willing to obtain CVIP license or hold CVIP.
• Must demonstrate safe work practices and be able to work independently or in a team.
• Supply own hand tools and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mobile and crawler cranes, boom trucks, heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform mechanical inspections including Commercial Vehicle inspections.
• Utilize testing equipment to identify issues and document repairs.
• Order parts and track fleet maintenance in the Sterli ng Crane Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Provide detailed repair comments in paper and electronic work orders.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime required.**JOB TYPE**: Full-time hourly position, unionized. Field and shop work required.**LOCATION**: 696 Polymoore Drive, Corunna, ON N0N 1G0.**HOURS**: Monday through Friday, within business operating hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM MST (40 hour/week).
