Cummins in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician (Afternoon Shift) to join our onsite team. You will perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment, diagnose electrical to hydraulic issues, and assist with engine assembly and overhaul.
The role requires a HET Off-Road Journeyperson Certification, strong hands-on experience with heavy equipment, and the ability to mentor apprentices.
Job Summary:
Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
