Job summary

FLINT is hiring Multiskilled Operators for a permanent role in Fort McMurray, AB, starting ASAP. You'll operate a range of heavy machinery and contribute to a team that values safety and quality.

Join a company with a century of construction experience, camp accommodations, and a 14/14 or 7/7 schedule. Flights from Calgary or Edmonton are provided after 300+ hours and you'll train on new equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2000 hours operating a D6+ Dozer.
• Minimum 2000 hours operating a 250+ excavator.
• Minimum 2000 hours on a 988/966 Loader.
• Open pit mining experience preferred.
• CSO or BSO safety tickets required.
• Able to train on new equipment when requested.
• Clean 3-year driving abstract with under 9 demerits.
• Proficient in English, written and verbal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2000 hours of experience operating a D6+ Dozer, including Dozer cell experience, coupled with at least 2000 hours operating a 250+ excavator and a minimum of 2000 hours on a 988/966 Loader.
• Ground work is required.
• Demonstrated experience in open pit mining, with a minimum of 2000 hours.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
  • CSO or BSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation)
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Able to train on new equipment when requested.
• Able to provide a clean3‑year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
