Job summary

FLINT Corp. is hiring Multiskilled Operators for a permanent role at our Fort McMurray, AB site. You will operate a range of heavy equipment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork, contributing to open-pit mining operations.

We offer a 14/14 schedule with camp accommodations and flights from Calgary or Edmonton, plus benefits after 300+ hours. Fluency in English is required and you must pass drug and alcohol testing as this is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6000 hours of experience operating a 250+ excavator.
• At least 2000 hours on either a 785+ haul truck or D8+ dozer.
• Open pit mining experience with a minimum of 2000 hours.
• Meet minimum safety ticket requirements: CSO or BSO.
• Must be physically capable and able to train on new equipment.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.

• Minimum of 6000 hours of experience operating a 250+ excavator, coupled with at least 2000 hours on either a 785+ haul truck or D8+ dozer.
• Demonstrated experience in open pit mining, with a minimum of 2000 hours.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
  • CSO or BSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation)
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Able to train on new equipment when requested.
• Able to provide a clean3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
