SECURE, based in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking an experienced safety-minded equipment operator. The role involves operating loaders and attachments, including forks and buckets, in a full-time yard setting from 6:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays.

You will perform pre-operational checks, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety standards while working within a site team across Western Canada and North Dakota. Heavy labour and variable shifts are required.

Formación

• 1+ year operating equipment in civil earthworks, pipelines, or Oil & Gas
• 2 years equipment operation experience
• 5,000 hours in Heavy Equipment operations
• Able to work variable shifts & hours
• Physically fit; heavy labour
• Ability to work in varied terrains and locations

Responsabilidades

• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill tanks
• Conduct pre-operational checks and walk-arounds
• Attach and secure special attachments to equipment

Your Opportunity at SECURE

SECURE is seeking an experienced, safety minded equipment operator. The idealcandidate will be experienced in operating loaders and attachments that includefork and bucket.

This position is based out of Edmonton Alberta

The Team

This position must also adhere to our safety program and work as a contributingmember of the site team.

Work Environment

This is a full time permanent role and a based in the yard, working Monday toFriday, 6:30am to 3:30pm, with rotating Saturdays

A Day in The Life

• Operate equipment while adhering to all safe work practices and procedures
• Follow Secures’ operating standards and procedures
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and ensure equipment is running properly
• Secure special attachments to equipment
• Operate two-way radios and other communication when required
• Minor repairs to equipment. Report any necessary reports to the supervisor
• Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• One or more years experience operating equipment in industries such as civil earth works, pipelines, or Oil & Gas
• 2 years equipment operation experience
• Shredder experience is an asset
• A minimum of 5,000 hours in Heavy Equipment operations
• Grade 12 or GED
• Ability to Work variable shifts & hours
• Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation
• Must be physically fit, heavy labour is required
