Job summary

Bejac Corporation is seeking an experienced heavy equipment diesel mechanic for field service in Placentia, CA. Overtime is a must due to demand and busy schedules. Candidates should have strong diagnostic, welding, hydraulic, and electrical skills, with a background in equipment maintenance and dealership work.

Responsibilities include servicing customer equipment in shop or on-site, meeting repair times, and coordinating routes. Travel and relocation considerations may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment.
• Equipment dealership background ideal.
• Must lift 75 lbs unassisted.
• Welding experience.
• Hydraulic & electrical experience.
• Mid-level diagnostic ability.
• Repair major components (axles, engines, transmissions).
• Valid Class B driver's license required.

• Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturer's published flat rate repair times.
• Plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision.

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment

Equipment dealership background ideal

Must be able to lift 75# unassisted

Welding experience

Hydraulic & electrical experience

Mid-level diagnostic ability

Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions

Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears

Engine certifications a plus

Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal

Possess a clean and valid Class B driver's license, recent K4 printout required

Must be detail oriented

Ability to multi-task

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
