Job summary

Brandt Truck & Trailer in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking a Heavy Duty Journeyman Technician to perform mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers. You will work with a Journeyman team to diagnose, repair, and service heavy vehicles and drive lines, engines, and related components.

Qualifications

• Completion of College/vocational technical training.
• 1+ years as a heavy duty mechanic apprentice, specifically with drive lines/air systems including schematics and diagnostics.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman team with CVIP inspections.
• Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems on trucks and trailers.
• Repair and adjust mechanical components including drive lines and engines.
• Complete written and oral work orders.
• Diagnose the nature and extent of repairs and perform required maintenance.
• Repair and adjust truck drivetrains, engines, and related components.
• Perform other mechanical repair duties as required.

Brandt Truck & Trailer is seeking an individual to fill the position of Heavy Duty Journeyman Technician in our Grande Prairie location. This position will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Help the Journeyman team with CVIP inspections
