Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic to troubleshoot and oversee repairs on Caterpillar equipment. A Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification and a valid driver's license are required, and you will work with the Service Supervisor on site.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Heavy Duty Technician.
• Safety-conscious with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Understanding of Caterpillar product line is a plus.
• Engine or component rebuilding experience is a plus.
• Hydraulic or transmission testing experience is a plus.
• Experience with Lawson and SIS systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Interact with customers, product and sales support, and Finning team.
• Assist Service Supervisor on various tasks.
• Uphold on-site safety requirements.
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment.
• Complete technical documentation and reports.
