Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic for one of our manufacturing clients near Saskatoon, SK. The position offers a competitive pay of $40/hr for day shifts.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heavy-duty equipment such as trucks and construction machinery. You will also perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot various systems to ensure equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair heavy‑duty equipment such as trucks, buses, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns and downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspensions, and drivetrains.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and safety checks in compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and computerized systems to identify faults and complete repairs accurately.
  • Maintain detailed service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
