Qualifications

  • Must obtain Airport Security clearance.
  • Complete Alberta Credential assessment and challenge exam within 1 year.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. This role involves working with GSE Equipment, De-Icing Trucks, Fuel Trucks, and Fleet Vehicles. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, repairing or replacing defective parts, testing equipment, and performing routine maintenance. Additional duties may include repair work on heavy trucks and attaching components to new equipment.

Qualifications
  • Punctual and detail-oriented
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Must obtain Airport Security clearance
  • Complete Alberta Credential assessment and challenge exam within 1 year
  • Experience in an airport setting is an asset
  • Own a set of mechanical tools
  • Able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
