Job summary

GFL Environmental in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a Red Seal Heavy‑Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. You will inspect, maintain, repair, and rebuild diesel, CNG, gas, and electric trucks and heavy‑duty equipment, ensuring fleet reliability and safety.

The role requires a valid Red Seal Heavy‑Duty Equipment Technician certification, solid heavy‑duty mechanical experience, and a proactive safety mindset. Physical capability and the willingness to operate company vehicles are expected.

• Valid Red Seal Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician certification is required.
• Proven heavy-duty mechanical experience.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Willing to operate company vehicles and equipment.
