Job summary

Calmont Leasing | Rentals, Sales & Service in Calgary is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our on-site maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose faults, repair or replace parts, calibrate systems, and ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications.

The role requires 5+ years of experience and a trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience; you will keep maintenance reports, test repaired equipment, and work with safety gear such as

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks
• Service attachments and working tools
• Verify and repair emission control systems
• Perform other routine maintenance
