Job summary

Redhead Equipment Ltd. is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Service Technician (Road) at our Swift Current branch. Journeyperson status or equivalent experience is preferred to service a range of construction equipment.

The role involves on-site inspections, diagnosis and repair, using a service truck and traveling to various job sites as needed. A focus on customer service, teamwork and high-quality workmanship is essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson trade training in Heavy Duty Construction Equipment mechanics.
• 4th year apprentices may be considered.
• Proven experience as a service technician in the construction equipment industry.
• Mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills using OEM programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site inspection, diagnosis and repair for construction equipment using a service truck.
• Travel to various job sites as needed, working independently in the field.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer service and quality workmanship.
• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Redhead Equipment company has an exciting career opportunity for a Heavy Duty Equipment Service Technician (Road) at our Swift Current branch. Journeyperson status or similar experience is preferred.

This position involves providing on site inspection, diagnosis, and repair services for a wide range of construction equipment utilizing a service truck. Journey person certification is required, however those with similar experience at a dealership will be considered.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills using OEM specific programs
• Proficiency reading and interpreting hydraulic & electric schematics
