Job summary

Rocky Mountain Equipment in Red Deer, AB is hiring a Heavy Equipment Technician who is a 2nd to 4th year apprentice. This permanent full‑time service role offers signing bonuses based on experience and education, plus career growth in a supportive team.

As part of the Service team, you will diagnose faults, repair equipment, perform pre‑season inspections, and maintain detailed work orders while adhering to safety standards. English fluency and prior CASE or New Holland exposure are assets.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Must be fluent in the English language.
• Experience working on CASE construction and New Holland agriculture equipment is an asset.
• Possess problem solving skills.
• Two to three years' work experience in a similar role is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and inspect equipment for faults and malfunctions.
• Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts.
• Perform updates, pre-season delivery inspections, and pre-season inspections.
• Complete work orders and enter technician notes into computer.
• Adhere to all occupational health and safety standards.
