Position Details:

• Site: Belleville General Hospital - 265 Dundas St. E
• Hours: Continental Rotation - 0800-2000/2000-0800
• Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
• Pay Rate: $18.94/hourly

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible, alert security presence
• Greet, assist, and direct visitors
• Ensure safety and security of clients, buildings, and assets
• Perform interior and exterior patrols
• Respond to emergencies and document incidents
• Conduct routine investigations and safety inspections
• Enforce hospital policies, parking, smoking by-laws, and access controls
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid G class Driver's License
• First Aid & CPR - Level C
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and immunization records for MMR, Varicella, and TB
• 6+ months security experience; healthcare security experience preferred
• Ability to commute to Kingston for training and site training at all QHC facilities
• Must be able to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test and provide certifications in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behaviour
• Authorized to work legally in Canada
