• 6+ months of security experience; healthcare security experience preferred.
• Must pass N95 Mask Fit Test and provide certifications in Use of Force.

• Hours: Various - 0800-2000/2000-0800
• Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
• Pay Rate: $18.00/hourly
• Internal Posting: February 13, 2025

Job Responsibilities:

• Present a smart, visible, and alert security presence
• Greet, assist, and direct visitors
• Ensure safety & security of clients, buildings, and assets
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Carry out security duties including patrols, emergency response, documentation, incident investigation, patient watches, law enforcement enforcement, access control, safety inspections, and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Valid Security License for Ontario
• Valid Ontario G driver's license
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and immunization records
• 6+ months security experience; healthcare security experience preferred
• 1+ year security experience preferred
• Must be able to commute to Kingston for training and site train at all 4 QHC facilities
• Must be able to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test and provide certifications in Use of Force and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (training available)

Certification Requirements: Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, Valid Ontario Security License.
