• Site: Belleville General Hospital - 265 Dundas St. E
• Hours: Various - 0800-2000/2000-0800
• Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
• Pay Rate: $18.00/hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Present a smart, visible, and alert security presence
• Greet, assist, and direct visitors
• Ensure safety and security of clients, buildings, and assets
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Carry out security duties including:
• Proactive/reactive patrols
• Response in emergencies
• Document and report security events
• Investigate incidents
• Patient watches
• Enforce parking and smoking bylaws
• Enforce hospital policies
• Access and key control
• Monthly safety inspections
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Valid Security License for Ontario
• Valid Ontario G driver's license
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from WSIB-approved vendor)
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and immunization records
• Minimum 6 months security experience; healthcare security preferred
• 1+ year security experience preferred
• Ability to commute to Kingston for training
• Reliable vehicle in good condition
• Ability to train at all 4 QHC facilities
• Must be able to pass N95 Mask Fit Test (clean shaven)
• Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) or willingness to complete training
• Authorized to work legally in Canada
