Job Title: Healthcare Scheduler – Northern Staffing

Location: Cornwall, Ontario

Work Environment: Hybrid

The Healthcare Schedulers handle client care and service inquiries, and support the field staff with scheduling their travel assignments in Northern Communities The successful candidate will have solid organizational skills and an ability to prioritize tasks while juggling requests as the team continues to support our healthcare professionals working in Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis) and Northern Communities across Canada

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Schedule healthcare providers for travel assignments across Canada in alignment with client needs.
  • Handle and document prospective client inquiries regarding requests for care and service.
  • Assess client service needs in consultation with the Team Lead / Director of Operations.
  • Report and collaborates with other funders, customers or government programs.
  • Notify clients and Field employees regarding initial and ongoing schedules.
  • Complete data entry and maintain accurate current scheduling documentation.
  • Participates in a rotation of on call as scheduled.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum - Secondary School Diploma
  • Completion of a Medical Terminology course is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in healthcare.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications, including TEAMS, word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
