Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Coordinator II - Project Coordinator in Camrose to support the delivery of major capital and complex hospital projects. The role reports to the Director, Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager and involves lifecycle activities from initiation through close-out, including budgeting, scheduling and procurement.

Responsibilities include coordinating stakeholders and contractors, administering contracts, and ensuring quality and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.
• Journeyman Trade Certificate.
• Diploma in architecture, building or engineering technology program.
• 5–7 years of related construction project management experience in healthcare preferred.
• Computerized project management scheduling and financial reporting knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Project Manager/Project Manager throughout project life cycle from initiation to close-out.
• Develop project schedules and budgets, procurement docs and cash flow forecasts.
• Perform contract administration, project supervision and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate equipment installation and site inspections, ensuring facility guidelines compliance.
• Liaise between stakeholders, consultants and construction team and communicate effectively.
