As a Healthcare Clinic Security guard, there is a high focus on customer service, scheduled patrolling, and de-escalation, since you will be working with people throughout your shift in a healthcare clinic environment.

Responsibilities for Healthcare Clinic Security Guard

• Customer service duties such as welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Access control of all entry and exit points
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Work with a team of highly skilled security professionals
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Complete daily and incident reports
• De-escalate conflicts and potentially dangerous situations with tact and diplomacy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Healthcare Clinic Security Guard

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• Fluent in English, both written and oral
• High school education or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
• First Aid and CPR Certification is an asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use new software programs and technology systems
