The role requires five years of leadership experience, a health-related degree, and registration with the appropriate college. Strong planning, budgeting, and data-driven decision making are essential assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a health discipline is required.
• Master’s degree or leadership certificate is an asset.
• Must be registered with the relevant health discipline college/association.
• Minimum five years in leadership/management in a unionized health setting.
• Experience in mental health and addictions is preferred.
• Strong communication and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative leadership for Rehab Units.
• Lead workforce development, HR and financial management.
• Drive performance indicators, evaluation and service improvement.
• Ensure accreditation standards and NS Health policies are followed.
