Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority in Northern Zone, Aberdeen Hospital, is seeking a Physiotherapist for Rehabilitation Services. The role involves comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, treatment and patient management within a clinical team, with supervision of students and aides.

The position is a permanent full-time, 75 hours bi-weekly, onsite. We value excellent interpersonal and written communication, licensure with the NS regulator, and ongoing professional certification such as BCLS and

Qualifications

• Bachelor or MSc in Physiotherapy required.
• Membership with Nova Scotia College Regulator of Physiotherapy (licensing)
• Annual CPR (BCLS) certification required
• Annual WHMIS training/certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with impairment or disability.
• Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants.
• Collaborate with clinical team to set goals and ensure quality patient management
