Cogeco Connexion Inc in Burlington, ON seeks an Advisor to implement the strategic direction of health, safety, and well-being at work in Canada. You will be the reference on policies, programs, and procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and standards.

The role requires 5–8 years’ experience, bilingual English/French, and a university degree in H&S or related field. CRHA/HRPA is an asset; agile and Google Workspace knowledge is beneficial.

Formación

• University degree in health and safety, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Bilingual English and French, both oral and written.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated autonomy and initiative.
• Knowledge of Agile concepts and Google for Business suite is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Act as specialist interpreting health and safety laws, policies, and standards in force in Canada.
• Coordinate and monitor prevention programs and activities across regions.
• Develop communications on health and safety and assist with training.
• Identify dangerous conditions, conduct risk assessments, and recommend improvements.
• Manage CNESST/WSIB claims in partnership with external providers.
• Support investigations to identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Review data trends to create targeted action plans and conduct audits.
