Job summary

The role acts as Canada’s reference on H&S policies, trains managers, conducts risk assessments, and coordinates CNESST/WSIB claims, audits, and data analysis to drive prevention.

Qualifications

• University degree in health and safety or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in a health, safety, and well-being role.
• Holding CRHA/HRPA or safety professional designation is a significant asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as a specialist in the interpretation and application of health and safety laws, policies, processes, and standards in force in Canada.
• Identify dangerous conditions and practices, including risk assessment and development of recommendations.
• In partnership with external provider, manage CNESST/WSIB claims.
• Coordinate training and activities related to health, safety, and well-being.
• Review trends and analyze health, safety, and well-being data to create targeted action plans.
