Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a People, Health & Safety Specialist to oversee health and safety compliance across the Specialty Rx division, advise on accommodations, leaves, and OSHA-related matters, and support HR projects. The role requires on-site work for the initial period, followed by hybrid arrangements.

Strong collaboration with Operations and leadership is essential. The candidate should have post-secondary education in HR or H&S, 3–5 years HR experience, and CHRP/CHRL or related

Qualifications

• Experience in health and safety programs across multiple provinces.
• CHRP or CHRL designation or in progress; other certifications are a plus.
• 3–5 years of HR experience with health, accommodations, and leave management.
• Knowledge of provincial employment standards, human rights, and health & safety regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support health and safety programs across the Specialty Rx division.
• Provide guidance on workplace incidents and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
• Coordinate Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) activities across multiple provinces.
• Partner with Health and Safety leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and policy alignment.
• Maintain confidential records related to health and safety, accommodations, and leaves.
