Job summary

Parker Huggett is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator for a permanent role in the GTA. You will report to the HS&E Manager and serve as the on-site safety resource, supporting a proactive safety program across large-scale infrastructure and building projects.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in construction health and safety, or a trade background that led into a safety role.
• Hands-on site experience on infrastructure, heavy civil or building projects
• Solid working knowledge of the Ontario OHSA and Regulations
• Experience running inspections, audits and incident investigations, and following corrective actions to close-out
• Ability to coach superintendents, foremen and subcontractors and enforce safety on site
• Clear, organized documentation and reporting, plus comfort with safety software and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to safety resource on site and report to the HS&E Manager.
• Coach现场 teams on safety practices and ensure adherence to OHSA regulations.
• Lead inspections, audits and incident investigations and close-out corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
