Humber River Health in Toronto is seeking a Health Information Services Clerk for the Health Information Services Department. This temporary full-time role requires day shifts from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Previous experience in a Health Record Department in an acute care facility.
• Experience with Meditech scanning of patient records.
• Knowledge of Terminal Digit Filing.
• Computer literacy, Meditech proficient.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm.
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis processes.
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
• Medical terminology knowledge is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Ability to interact courteously with patients, physicians and staff.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Excellent attendance and discipline-free record.
• Equity, diversity and inclusion in health practices is an asset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Health Record Department in an acute care facility.
• Previous experience with Meditech scanning of patient records.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Terminal Digit Filing.

• Excellent attendance and discipline free record is a requirement
