Saskatchewan Health Authority in Saskatoon is seeking a Health Educator Senior to lead the integration of fall prevention initiatives across acute, home, residential and community care settings. You will plan, develop and implement seniors’ falls prevention programs and mentor teams to apply best practices.

The role requires leadership, education expertise and collaboration with stakeholders, with recognition of HSAS terms.

Competenze

• Five (5) years clinical experience
• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
• Bachelor degrees in related health fields acceptable (Psychology, Nursing, PT, Social Work)

Job Description: The Health Educator Senior is responsible for supporting the full integration of best practice fall prevention initiatives into everyday clinical practice throughout the continuum of care including acute care, home care, residential care and community. The Health Educator Senior is accountable for the leadership, education, facilitation, quality improvement, evaluation and mentorship of the initiative and is also responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a seniors falls prevention plans. The Health Educator Senior will work in collaboration with key stakeholders within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
