Job summary

Pay rates are $22 per hour for HCW and $25 per hour for HCA. Duties include personal care, medication reminders, light meal prep, companionship, and medical escorts. Flexible scheduling and ongoing support from nurses and coordinators are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Flexible availability for short and long shifts.
• Care Aide certificate and BC Registry Number (preferred, not mandatory).
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and a genuine kindness.
• Reliable vehicle and clean criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and medication reminders.
• Light meal prep and housekeeping (sometimes it’s just a warm cup of tea and a chat).
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Accompanying clients to appointments (medical escorts).
• Being a calm, friendly presence they can count on.

What You’ll Be Doing
