Job summary

Classic LifeCare in Delta, BC, is seeking compassionate casual Health Care Workers to support clients in their own homes. The role offers flexible scheduling options and a competitive hourly pay rate of $20.00–$21.00.

As a casual Health Care Worker, you will assist with personal care and medications, light meal prep, companionship, and non-emergency medical escort and medication management. Training and PPE provided; drivers with own vehicle preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Experience with complex care (tracheostomy, suppositories, bowel care, catheter care) preferred.
• Willing to work both short and long shifts.
• Health Care Aide certificate and BC registry number is an asset.
• Reliable, punctual, positive and friendly attitude.
• Willingness to commute to designated locations.
• Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector clearance.
• Driver's license and own vehicle preferred.

Areas where we are looking for casual Health Care Workers: Delta, BC

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

As a casual Health Care Worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing assistance with personal care and medications.
• Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with medical escort services
• Assisting with medication management

Competencies and Qualifications:

• Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities.
• Experience with tracheostomy, suppositories, bowel care, catheter care, and complex care is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work both short and long shifts.
• Possession of a Health Care Aide certificate and BC registry number is an asset.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude.
• Willingness to commute to designated locations.
• A clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector clearance.
• Possession of a driver's license with your own vehicle is highly preferred.
