Job summary

Classic LifeCare in Coquitlam, BC is seeking compassionate Health Care Workers on a casual basis to support clients in their homes. The role offers flexible hours, companionship, and essential in-home care, including personal care and medication assistance.

Applicants should have experience with seniors or disabilities, a Health Care Aide certificate, or BC registry number as an asset, and a valid criminal record check. Training and PPE are provided to ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Willing to work both short and long shifts.
• Health Care Aide certificate and BC registry number are assets.
• Reliable, punctual, friendly attitude.
• Willingness to commute to client locations.
• Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector clearance.

Areas where we are looking for casual Health Care Workers: Coquitlam, BC

Pay Rate:

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour

As a casual Health Care Worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing assistance with personal care and medications.
• Conducting light meal preparation and homemaking services.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with medical escort services
• Assisting with medication management

Competencies and Qualifications:

• Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities.
• Willingness to work both short and long shifts.
• Possession of a Health Care Aide certificate and BC registry number is an asset.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude.
• Willingness to commute to designated locations.
• A clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector clearance.
• Possession of a driver's license with your own vehicle an asset.
