Job summary

HCR Personnel Solutions Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist for a leading manufacturing client in the London area.

The role will focus on developing and maintaining HSE policies, conducting audits, and leading incident investigations to drive safety and sustainability improvements. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of manufacturing HSE experience, strong knowledge of OHSA/ESA/WSIA, and a diploma in OH&S or Environmental studies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Health, Safety and Environmental experience in manufacturing.
• Post-secondary education in OH&S or Environmental studies.
• Strong knowledge of OHSA, WSIA, ESA and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability policies and procedures.
• Oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with legal and corporate standards.
• Investigate incidents and implement timely corrective actions.
• Perform risk assessments and assist in evaluating new processes.

Job Title: Health Safety & Environmental

Location: London ON

Key Requirements

• A minimum of three years' experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role, within a manufacturing, preferably automotive industries.
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental studies (degree or diploma).
• In-depth knowledge of OHSA, WSIA, ESA, and environmental legislation.
• Experience with ISO14001 standards and sustainability reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional after-hours for incidents or investigations.
