Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Coordinator to support our operations across high-impact demolition and environmental projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating safety initiatives across multiple job sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions
- Support and assist with risk assessments and job hazard analyses
- Lead and support incident investigations
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
- Assist site supervisors and project managers with health and safety matters
- Promote and support health and safety initiatives across job sites
- Evaluate and improve health and safety strategies, programs, and procedures
- Assist with the orientation of new employees, contractors, and subcontractors
- Help manage and support WSIB claims and related documentation
- Maintain site health and safety documentation and filing systems
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with site-specific safety requirements
- Maintain the inventory and condition of safety equipment and PPE
- Analyze safety data and trends to recommend improvements
- Support return-to-work programs for injured workers
- Schedule and ensure worker training remains up to date
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a health and safety role (construction or industrial preferred)
- Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and investigations
- Experience developing and delivering safety training
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures
- Proven ability to work in a construction or industrial environment
- Experience with COR (Certificate of Recognition) programs and audits
- Strong initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Additional Requirements
- Valid G Class Driver’s Licence (required)
- Bilingual in English and French (asset)

Compensation
A competitive salary aligned with industry standards. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications demonstrated during the interview process.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Occasional weekend work may be required depending on project needs
