Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and P.Eng. licensure with APEGA.
• 15+ years of experience across engineering, pipeline integrity and management.
• Experience leading engineers and technical specialists with accountability for performance and staffing.
• Experience solving complex cross-disciplinary technical problems with broad safety or regulatory impact.
• Experience developing and executing pipeline integrity programs and risk mitigation plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pipe Integrity team in identifying, assessing and mitigating integrity threats across the pipeline asset lifecycle.
• Oversee engineering assessments, analysis and timely response to urgent integrity issues.
• Develop and advance long-term threat management strategies and integrity plans.
• Establish priorities, resources and performance measures for integrity programs.
• Provide governance for growth, reliability and maintenance projects and risk assessments.
• Guide optimization and maintenance of engineering specifications, standards and practices.
• Build team capability through coaching, performance management and staffing decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Projects, Regulatory and other teams to resolve integrity issues and support asset performance.
• Interface with Canadian and American regulators and industry associations to support safety goals.
