Job summary

Vision Integrity Engineering Ltd. in Calgary seeks a seasoned Chief Inspector with API 510 and ABSA ISI-BPVPP certifications and 10+ years of upstream oil and gas inspection leadership. The role is full-time with hybrid office/remote work and some site travel, based out of Calgary, AB.

You will oversee regulatory-compliant inspection programs, manage NDE crews, and coordinate with ABSA and client teams to ensure integrity and safe operation of pressure equipment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as Chief Inspector for sour oil and gas facilities
• Valid ISI-BPVPP certification with ABSA
• Valid API 510 certification
• Ability to supervise inspectors and NDE crews
• Collaborates effectively with engineering and operations

Responsibilities

• Administers and oversees inspection activities under provincial regulations and standards.
• Ensures integrity and life-cycle pressure equipment activities align with regulatory authority.
• Oversees inspection planning, corrosion monitoring, and QC package reviews.
• Coordinates Field Inspections and NDE crews; liaises with ABSA SCO.
• Develops inspection and corrosion monitoring plans; assigns inspection intervals.
• Performs internal and external inspections of pressure equipment.
• Reviews inline inspection tool reports and provides repair recommendations
• Consults on pipeline integrity issues
