Job summary

LoopX is building all-condition intelligence for safer, more productive underground mining. Based in Toronto and Sudbury, LoopX seeks a Head of Operations & Finance to own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, while partnering with the CEO to provide leadership visibility into performance and scalable infrastructure.

This strategic yet hands-on role thrives in ambiguity, shaping how LoopX operates from the ground up and supporting fundraising, pricing, hiring plans, and vendor

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in operations, finance, venture-capital, or Chief of Staff type roles.
• Experience working at a startup from Seed through Series A and beyond.
• Strong financial acumen (modeling, budgeting, reporting) paired with operational execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in partnership with the CEO.
• Lead preparation of board materials, including monthly and quarterly reporting and performance insights.
• Track key financial and operating metrics; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and manage internal systems and processes to provide real-time visibility into business performance.
• Establish reporting dashboards across finance, operations, and go-to-market.
• Improve workflows across functions to drive efficiency and execution.
